Co-founder of Changmian Productions, member of the Sonic Beating DJ Collective, and now part of the west coast A&R for San Fran's PsyBooty Records. Dean is a musician at the deepest core of his being, wise well beyond his years, and as tolerant and-forgiving as any person you’d ever meet – Dean’s ability to adapt and evolve pay tribute to his selfless and humble demeanor. By the time Dean discovered electronic music he had already been playing drums and guitar in numerous bands for many years. His versatility and hunger for new music lead him to completely immerse himself in the electronic music scene as a DJ while still remaining an integral force in his live band projects. It is this duality that makes him quite unique as both a DJ and Musician.

Dean has been DJing up & down the east coast and beyond since 1997. In this time he has held five psy-trance and down-tempo residencies in the Boston area including "Samsara", Boston's first all psy-trance weekly event and "Anitya," which lasted an astounding 100 events before the crew moved onward in December 2003. He then joined forces with Sonic Beating and helped develop Boston's most respected underground monthly event, "Psyforia." Through these and other events, including the legendary Truro beach parties, Dean helped establish a thriving psy-trance community in the Boston area.

Having relocated to San Francisco, Dean is performing psy-trance and down-tempo DJ sets alongside PSybooty founder David Justin. He is also currently producing his own music. His current tracks are of the down-tempo persuasion, tipping the hat to master producers such as DJ Shadow, Kruder & Dorfmeister, and Shpongle.
